`mkrun`

A command runner whose tasks are Python functions -- shareable as versioned packages.

The mk command: a Makefile.py of plain Python functions, each a task, with its dependencies declared in the file's own PEP 723 header and resolved by uv. Every Optersoft repository is driven by it.

Install

From PyPI

$ uv add mkrun
$ pip install mkrun

Or from this index

# uv looks at an --extra-index-url FIRST, and stops at the first that has a name
$ uv pip install --extra-index-url https://python.optersoft.com/simple/ mkrun
